MVP

OpenBilliard need an MVP in online booking and live booking. With that in mind I need some background to dig into more about billiard.

two thing for sure is a Landing page and Mobile web base.

Background

After asking question to some people with background who use or frequently went to billiard place, there's some finding I found.

  • Sometimes billiard place is fully booked so they can't play and need to find another place.

  • Inflexible booking times/durations so player want to play 30 min or maybe 1 hour 30 min and the place don't provide that.

Focusing in online booking

I focused on online booking and live table availability. Casual billiard players primarily complain about difficulty booking ahead and lacking real-time table status, leading to frustration and uncertainty upon arrival.

Lesson learned

Lesson learned

Take your time to understand the user’s problem. It is okay to check and recheck.

This may be small and exploratory, given the technical and time constraints, but it’s got huge potential for how we live.

Take a step back if you need to, and look again at what we are trying to address.
